Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, leading the team and ensuring quality care
Administer medications accurately and monitor resident responses
Provide expert wound care and treatments
Assess and manage residents with chronic conditions like heart disease and diabetes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with facility policies

Qualifications

Current and active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience
Strong charge nurse and medication administration skills
Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly residents

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care regulations and best practices
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Skilled in resident assessment and care planning
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with Matrix EMR system preferred
