Medical Laboratory Technician - Generalist

Location: Dodge City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in a fast-paced environment
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Ensure accuracy and quality control of test results
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide patient care
Participate in lab orientation and training
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience as a generalist medical lab technician
Valid MLT or MLS certification
BLS certification preferred
Experience with EPIC Beaker LIS
Must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in laboratory information systems (EPIC Beaker)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
Knowledge of CLIA regulations
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
