Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily operations in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Provide pre- and post-procedure care, bedside support, and moderate sedation
Enhance nursing competency and build a strong unit culture
Manage staffing, scheduling, and ensure high-quality patient care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
3 years of RN experience with 1 year in a clinical leadership or management role
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
Strong critical care and telemetry skills; fluoro license preferred
Experience in cath lab and ICU settings is highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac and critical care procedures and protocols
Ability to titrate vasoactive drugs and manage complex drips
Leadership and team-building abilities
Proficiency in reading telemetry strips and monitoring patients
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
