Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips, titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Manage patients with diagnoses like cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, COPD, pneumonia, influenza, and sepsis
Collaborate with charge nurse and take patient assignments as needed
Float to PCU or MS units for full patient assignments as required
Document patient care in Epic EMR system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU and telemetry experience preferred
Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac strips
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Epic experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Drip titration for cardiac medications
PCU-level care including acute on chronic conditions
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork
