Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage adults and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Titrate and administer critical drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Provide comprehensive care for cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and continuous EEG monitoring patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Apply critical thinking and communication skills to problem-solve and support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal (for 50-mile radius determination)
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac and seizure medications
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
