Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend. Self-scheduling.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Titrate intravenous drips such as insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with PT/OT, social work, and dieticians for comprehensive care
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Conduct hourly rounding to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification and chemo certification required
EPIC experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius verification
Willingness to adhere to facility policies (e.g., no artificial nails)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of oncology and PCU nursing
Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to manage chemotherapy drips and hemodynamic monitoring
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
