Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
Titrate critical drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and respond to changing patient conditions
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication to support unit success

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (NLC)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submission (must be outside 50-mile radius)
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation (90% or higher)
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with titratable drips and cardiac monitoring
Adaptability to float across different units
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
