Location: Redding, CA

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in an acute care rehab setting
Evaluate and treat patients to improve daily living skills and functional independence
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Participate in weekend rotation every 3rd weekend

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Current California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification required
Open to first-time travelers
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in occupational therapy assessment and intervention
Knowledge of rehab modalities and adaptive equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and documentation skills
