Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support for adult and neonatal patients
Administer nebulizer treatments and provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Assist with intubation procedures as needed
Care for neonates in Level 2 nursery, including bubble CPAP management for infants 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with lead therapist and nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapist license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
RRT or CRT credential required
Must have NICU experience and competency with bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP setup, and critical care patients

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
BiPAP and CPAP setup and troubleshooting
Nebulizer treatments and aerosol therapy
ABG collection and analysis
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Neonatal respiratory care, including bubble CPAP
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient setting
