Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans in accordance with protocols and physician orders
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately and safely
Monitor patients throughout the procedure, ensuring comfort and safety
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
Document patient history, scan results, and any adverse reactions
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or equivalent required
California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience as a PET/CT Technologist preferred
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PET/CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and disposal
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Comfortable with electronic medical records and imaging software
Ability to lift and position patients safely
