Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in a combined Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit
Manage acute care patients, swing bed patients, and ED holds with a 1:4 ratio
Titrate drips and monitor telemetry as needed
Serve as charge nurse and float to ED holds when required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum one year of MedSurg experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with titratable drips and IV therapy
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
