Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM days and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a combined ED and MedSurg setting
Titrate drips and manage complex medical conditions with confidence
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to ED holds as needed and take charge responsibilities when assigned
Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, supportive environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
At least one year of MedSurg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to read telemetry strips (ED nurses)
Comfortable titrating drips and managing ventilators in the ED

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in IV starts, medication administration, and wound care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between ED and MedSurg units
Knowledge of NEBS, O2 delivery, and CPAP/BiPap equipment
