Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (every other weekend), block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal vital signs
Assist in routine and intermediate nursery care
Administer and titrate medications including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Respond to emergencies and stabilize newborns for transfer if needed

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license (or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years experience in L&D, postpartum, and nursery care
Ability to work independently in all areas of care
Strong clinical skills essential

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EFM system (FE Centricity Perinatal)
Experience with titratable drips (Pitocin, insulin, Magnesium Sulfate)
Ability to function as charge nurse and collaborate with house supervisor
Skills in caring for intermediate nursery patients
Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to float to other units as needed
