Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients, including high-risk obstetrics
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and manage antepartum patients
Independently circulate and recover C-sections
Titrate drips such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to Mother-Baby unit as needed to support the team
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and surgical techs for safe deliveries

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nevada (compact license accepted)
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience preferred
Must be confident and independent in high-risk labor/delivery, vaginal exams, and internal monitor placement
Ability to circulate and recover C-sections and titrate drips
Willingness to float to Mother-Baby unit as needed

Knowledge & Skills

High-risk obstetrics, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
C-section circulation and recovery
Fetal monitoring with Cerner EFM
Titration of magnesium sulfate, pitocin, insulin, and heparin
ACLS and AFM protocols
Team scheduling and self-scheduling
