Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with one day off per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert interventional radiology nursing care for a variety of procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90, GJ tube placement, IVC filter placement, vascular access, angiograms, CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ablations, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
Work in a Level I trauma center alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, managing sedation and recovery.
Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience including Neuro IR
Level I Trauma experience required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Comfortable with sterile technique and procedural skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and maintaining sterile field
Skilled in central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
