Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call and alternating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided procedures like paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
Coordinate the IR MD schedule and collaborate with floor RNs and imaging techs
Monitor patients under sedation, place PIVs, and manage pacing
Ensure safe and efficient patient flow in a fast-paced interventional setting
Provide high-quality care to both inpatient and outpatient populations

Qualifications

Current RN license in California (or compact state) required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
Ability to work in a team and adapt to varying case volumes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR and MRI Safe Pumps
Skilled in EKG monitoring and patient assessment
Strong IV placement and sedation monitoring skills
Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
