Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and titrate advanced cardiac drips including insulin and sedation
Assess and interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for commute
Willingness to comply with facility fingernail policy and orientation exam requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating cardiac drips and managing ventilators
Ability to interpret and document cardiac rhythms
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Comfortable floating to PCU and MedSurg units as needed
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
