Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Flexible schedules: 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts (40 hours/week); includes weekly weeknight call (1-2 nights/week) and weekend call (every 3 weekends). Shifts to be discussed during interview.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents for ERCP procedures
Operate and troubleshoot the ultrasound processor and assist with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) for EUS
Set up advanced electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for EMR/ESD procedures
Handle balloon catheters and specialized equipment for enteroscopy and endolumenal surgery
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup for structural GI conditions
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska (or compact state) required
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD)
Ability to pass an open-book exam on skills learned during orientation (90% required)
Commitment to patient safety and infection control, including adherence to artificial nail policy

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery assistance
Expertise in high-level disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopes
Familiarity with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced GI lab environment
