Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes
Respond to medical emergencies and stabilize patients
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Must pass an open-book exam during orientation with a 90% or higher
Artificial nails prohibited - must comply with fingernail policy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in IV starts, wound care, and emergency procedures
Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
