Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (shift negotiable), with call one weekday per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform circulating and scrubbing duties during open heart and endovascular surgeries
Assist in TAVR, thoracic, and other cardiovascular procedures
Ensure patient safety and sterile technique in the operating room
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care
Manage call responsibilities and respond within 30 minutes
Float to General OR as needed

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
Open heart surgery experience
Endovascular surgery experience
Ability to scrub into open heart cases

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
Skills in circulating and scrubbing for cardiovascular surgeries
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle high-stress situations
