Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to high-acuity cardiac surgery recovery, IABP, CRRT, ECMO, and transplant patients
Perform and assist with bedside procedures including bronchs, Swans, epidurals, and central line dressing changes
Maintain sterile field during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes in SIMs lab
Float to other ICUs and telemetry units as needed, ensuring patient ratios of 1:1-2 in CTICU and up to 4:1 on tele
Collaborate with intensivists, RT, pharmacy, and a dedicated team to deliver top-notch patient care

Qualifications

Must have Level I trauma experience
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience, CVICU preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCRN is a plus
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
Must have own vehicle for travel teams
Natural hair color and no facial piercings required; men must be clean-shaven for fit test

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and Philips telemetry monitoring
Strong IV skills and ability to interpret dysrhythmias
Experience with IABP, CABG, CRRT, and ECMO preferred
Comfortable with sterile field technique and high-acuity bedside procedures
Team player with strong communication skills
