Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient bed placement across multiple hospitals using TeleTracking and Cerner systems
• Apply critical thinking to ensure appropriate unit placement for each patient based on their needs
• Communicate with charge nurses and leadership to resolve any placement issues
• Utilize multiple computer applications and chat systems to manage bed assignments efficiently
• Work closely with emergency department and other units to optimize patient flow
• Maintain detailed records and ensure accurate bed management

Qualifications

• Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona (or compact state)
• Recent acute care experience - 2 years preferred
• Proven experience with TeleTracking and Cerner systems
• Strong computer skills including Zoom and Google Applications
• Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities
• Knowledge of different hospital units (e.g., MedSurg vs. Telemetry)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert in bed management and patient placement workflows
• Ability to think critically and escalate issues appropriately
• Comfortable working with multiple screens and software platforms
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
