Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the ICU unit, ensuring high-quality patient care
Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated nurses and support staff
Develop and implement evidence-based protocols to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize resources
Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
Previous leadership or management experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
