Location: Los Angeles, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (on-call weekends 1-2 weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures
Operate advanced imaging equipment (C-arm, fluoroscopy) to capture high-quality images
Monitor patients' condition before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Maintain sterile technique and prepare supplies and equipment for each case
Document procedures accurately in Cerner EMR and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology (ARRT-VI)
Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Fluoroscopy permit (Fluoro)
Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
Experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in using Cerner EMR and PACS systems
Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
