Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians during GI procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies
Perform patient positioning, specimen collection, and bedside precleaning of scopes
Set up and break down scope equipment and restock procedure rooms
Support esophageal motility studies if experienced
Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth procedural flow

Qualifications

At least 1 year of previous GI tech experience required
BLS certification required
Ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
Strong attention to detail and patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in GI endoscopy procedures and scope handling
Knowledge of patient positioning and specimen collection techniques
Skilled in scope precleaning and equipment setup
Familiarity with EGD, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy procedures
