Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality noninvasive vascular and cardiac ultrasound exams using sonography equipment
• Provide testing for outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department patients with compassion and professionalism
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure accurate, actionable results
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate findings effectively
• Follow institutional protocols and quality assurance procedures to uphold testing standards
• Assist with equipment care and basic troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted patient service

Qualifications

• RDCS and RVT — registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR
• RCS and RVS — registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• 3+ years of sonography experience
• 1+ year of travel experience preferred
• Proven ability to perform noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings
• Strong patient-care focus and excellent communication skills

Education

• ARDMS (RDCS/RVT) or CCI (RCS/RVS) registration required

Knowledge & Skills

• Ultrasound and sonography techniques for vascular and cardiac imaging
• Vascular ultrasound and echocardiography proficiency
• Noninvasive testing modalities and quality-assurance practices
• Patient care best practices and bedside manner
• Clear communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
