Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for adults in a 16-bed CVICU
• Manage ventilators and perform advanced airway care for critically ill patients
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, including Swan-Ganz catheter readings
• Perform arterial, central line, and chest tube management with precision and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and adjust complex care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment such as CRRT, Impella devices, and GE monitors
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes to the team and families

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the U.S. (active, unencumbered)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience (adult ICU/CVICU/Neuro ICU or similar)
• Demonstrated ventilator experience and comfort with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficient with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube care
• Familiarity with CRRT and Impella is a strong plus
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN are desirable but not strictly required

Education

• Current RN licensure (required)
• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• CRRT operation and troubleshooting
• Post-CABG recovery and cardiac surgical patient care
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in high-acuity settings
