Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients under orders from the referring physician to identify functional needs and goals
Develop individualized treatment programs using a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices
Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions aimed at maximizing functional potential across daily living activities
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the Manager of Rehabilitation Services and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Ensure practice aligns with the California State Practice Act and facility policies

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
Current California Occupational Therapist License (required)
Ability to evaluate and develop treatment plans under physician orders
Knowledge of assistive devices and therapeutic techniques consistent with state practice standards

Education

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
