Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced ED setting
• Perform rapid assessment and triage to prioritize patient needs and improve outcomes
• Implement ACLS, PALS and NIHSS protocols when clinically indicated
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers and the ED team to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
• Participate in department quality improvement initiatives and maintain a focus on patient safety

Qualifications

• WA Registered Nurse License (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS Card (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• PALS (required)
• TNCC and ENPC (required)
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
• Comfort working variable evening/night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency department nursing skills including triage and rapid assessment
• Proficiency with ACLS, PALS, NIHSS protocols
• Trauma-focused knowledge consistent with TNCC/ENPC training
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay calm under pressure
