Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub during interventional cardiac procedures, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes
• Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy/X-ray tables (Philips and Siemens) with confidence and safety
• Prepare procedural equipment and implants for PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI and IR cases
• Monitor patient status during procedures and communicate findings clearly to the care team
• Maintain a sterile field and follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in EMR systems such as Meditech and MacLab
• Mentor and educate junior staff, sharing expertise to elevate the whole team's competence

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS certification required (panning x-ray table experience required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and up to date
• Minimum 1 year of interventional/cath lab experience
• Comfortable with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab or willingness to learn quickly
• Willingness to work on-call and cover some Saturdays

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab procedures and interventional workflows
• Experience with electrophysiology procedures including EPS and PPM
• Familiarity with peripheral vascular interventions (PVI) and neuro-interventional cases
• Proficiency operating fluoroscopy/X-ray equipment and understanding radiation safety
• Strong EMR documentation skills, especially Meditech and MacLab
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment and support clinical staff
