Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including nights and weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care during vaginal and C-section deliveries
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for labor, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients
Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced Novii and GE equipment
Coordinate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
Direct and lead nursing care in a state-of-the-art 19-bed L&D unit

Qualifications

Active RN license
At least 1-2 years of acute care hospital L&D experience
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
AWHONN or EFM certification
Flexible, friendly, and dependable personality that thrives in fast-paced environments

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Labor & Delivery nursing
Proficiency with FHR monitors, fetal scalp electrodes, CPN, and Meditech EMR
Strong skills in high-risk antepartum and postpartum care
Bonus points for Mom/Baby, Peds, or NICU experience
