Location: Tuba City, Arizona

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (four 10-hour evening shifts); day shift training weekdays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Process specimens with precision and care
Perform critical testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology
Report accurate results to support exceptional patient outcomes
Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team in a 24-hour lab
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and procedures

Qualifications

Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist certification from a nationally recognized agency (obtainable within 18 months of hire)
For MLT: 6 months bench experience in blood bank, microbiology, chemistry, and hematology
For MLS: 1 year clinical lab experience including rotations through key specialties

Education

MLT: High school diploma/GED plus military lab course or 60 semester hours including 24 in lab/science courses
MLS: Baccalaureate degree plus 48 semester hours in medical lab science or specified chemistry/biology coursework

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in blood bank, microbiology, chemistry, hematology
Specimen processing and testing proficiency
Accurate reporting and result analysis
Adherence to lab policies and regulatory requirements
