Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy services to residents, helping them regain strength and independence
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities with compassion and expertise
Monitor patient progress and adjust care to maximize outcomes
Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes healing and well-being

Qualifications

Active PTA license in Texas
Current BLS certification
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
Strong commitment to patient-centered care

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and modalities
Excellent patient assessment and documentation skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols in a long-term care setting
