Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams and procedures for NICU, CCU, ED, and other departments to aid critical diagnoses
• Assist Radiologists and medical staff during exams for seamless teamwork
• Conduct quality control maintenance on scanners to ensure top-notch imaging
• Complete accurate documentation for proper interpretation and archiving
• Retrieve orders and health info to deliver timely results
• Train and support peers while working independently in a complex acute care setting
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program
• ARRT R.T.(R) and R.T.(CT) certifications
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Two years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
• Preferred: 1 year CT experience in a trauma center

Education

• Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT exams, procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Strong judgment, patience, and professional demeanor under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize in a busy environment
• Proficiency with computer applications and office equipment
