Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients from diagnosis through remission
Manage drips like chemotherapy, heparin, and cardizem with precision and confidence
Collaborate with a stellar team including charge nurses, educators, and specialists
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and outcomes
Float to similar med/surg and PCU units, broadening your impact
Titrate medications and monitor hemodynamics, growing your skills real-time

Qualifications

Active RN license ready to submit
2 years of experience, with PCU, oncology, or med/surg preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required, ONS/ONCC a plus
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
Open to first-time travelers who bring enthusiasm and teamwork

Education

BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC charting proficiency within the last 6 months helps but trainable
Comfort with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring like CVP and A-line
Titration of insulin and cardizem drips
Teamwork mindset and a positive attitude even on tough days
Cultural sensitivity for diverse patient populations
