Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3x12-Hour Day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert care in cardiac cath lab procedures including TAVR and interventional cardiology
Monitor pre and post procedural patients with precision and compassion
Administer medications, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation safely
Assist with advanced interventions like Impella insertion and PCI
Circulate in high-stakes procedures while ensuring infection prevention
Float to other UCSF facilities to support the broader team mission

Qualifications

Active CA RN License, AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
5+ years experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology
Hands-on experience with Structural Heart and TAVR procedures
Travel nursing experience welcomed and valued

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and emergency meds
Skilled in sheath removal, vascular closure systems, and 12-lead EKGs
Experienced with IABP, Impella, PCI, and TEE monitoring
Strong IV therapy, central line management, and ventilator skills
