Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver compassionate nursing care for patients across all ages
Make independent clinical decisions while maintaining full accountability
React calmly in emergencies with sound nursing judgments
Administer medications accurately and educate patients on their care
Collaborate with physicians and team members to execute care plans
Float between Med/Surg, ED, and ICU to support where needed most
Promote healing through individualized, goal-oriented care based on the nursing process

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted AK RN license required at submission
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications on hire
Flu vaccine required
One year of clinical nursing experience preferred, especially in Med/Surg

Knowledge & Skills

Strong grasp of nursing care principles, patient assessment, and emergency response
Proficiency in medication administration and patient education
Ability to operate medical equipment like defibrillators and monitors
Excellent oral and written communication for team collaboration
Competency in recognizing and responding to emergent patient needs
