Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3x12-Hour Day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, weekends required, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate seamless care for complex cancer patients, making a real difference in their journeys
Conduct utilization reviews using InterQual and Milliman guidelines to ensure optimal resource use
Plan thoughtful discharges and manage appeals to advocate fiercely for your patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams via SBAR for top-notch communication
Navigate regulatory landscapes like CMS and HIPAA to uphold the highest standards

Qualifications

RN with active state license, BLS certification, and BSN required
5 years of experience in case management or utilization review
Proficiency in Epic documentation and InterQual criteria
Background in acute hospital, LTAC, rehab, or skilled nursing settings

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in admission criteria, care coordination, and discharge planning
Skilled in UR processes including concurrent reviews, medical necessity, and appeals
Familiar with regulatory frameworks like DRG, ICD-10, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards
