Roles & Responsibilities

• Master cardiovascular scheduling for echoes, stress tests, and more to keep patient care flowing smoothly
• Handle insurance verification and authorization forms with precision
• Prepare charts and manage pharmacy calls and refill requests efficiently
• Coordinate appointments and perform telephone triage to support timely care
• Stock supplies and collect specimens while taking accurate vital signs
• Record patient histories, medications, and allergies to ensure top-notch preparation for exams

Qualifications

• Active MA-C certification (MA-R not accepted)
• BLS and CMA certifications required
• At least 1 year of experience in outpatient clinic settings
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• First-time travelers warmly welcomed, locals OK too

Education

• Completion of Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in adult outpatient clinic operations and office duties
• Skilled in cardiology procedures like echo and stress testing scheduling
• Strong abilities in vital signs, pulse oximetry, and specimen collection
• Proficient in follow-up calls, exam preparation, and patient record management
