End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Block scheduling, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes every third weekend and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies, including titrating medications like oxytocin and magnesium
Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Float to MSP/ED for light duty and patient sitting as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to work in a rural hospital setting with limited resources
Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratio guidelines
Proficiency in titrating common drips (oxytocin, magnesium, etc.)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Independence and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
