Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Cath Lab and EP team by scrubbing and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with electrophysiology studies and device implants, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and imaging systems
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond to changes in clinical condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and instrument tracking
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely coverage for nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required; no exceptions
• RCES, RCIS, or ARRT (RT) with VI or CI certification required
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) required with documentation
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with structural heart cases a plus
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts and participate in night/weekend on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Familiarity with device implants, diagnostic and interventional cath techniques
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and cath lab imaging equipment
• Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
• Skilled in patient monitoring, emergency response, and hemodynamic assessment
• Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to work in high-acuity settings
• Comfortable responding for on-call situations and adapting to variable schedules
