Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality episodic urgent care for adolescents through geriatrics
• Deliver occupational health services and injury treatment with clinical confidence
• Document patient encounters accurately in the Anthem EMR
• Practice autonomously while coordinating with the supervising physician via phone
• Perform focused assessments, order/interpret tests, and arrange referrals when needed
• Educate patients on care plans, injury prevention, and follow-up instructions

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) credential — locum NP experience a plus
• Demonstrated experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health
• Comfortable practicing autonomously with phone-based physician supervision
• Familiarity with or willingness to use Anthem EMR
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills for episodic care and injury treatment

Education

• Nurse Practitioner educational preparation (MSN or DNP typical for NP roles)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical management of urgent care presentations across the lifespan
• Occupational health protocols and injury evaluation/treatment
• Proficient documentation and charting in Anthem EMR
• Triage, procedural skills, and safe clinical decision-making
• Clear patient communication and interprofessional collaboration
