Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift; no call, no weekends, no holidays)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Support EP procedures by preparing and operating electrophysiology equipment with attention to safety
Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and report changes to the clinical team in a timely manner
Assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic and therapeutic EP cases
Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural areas are ready and stocked
Document procedure details and patient information accurately in the medical record
Participate in skills checklists and competency validations to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (required)
License/certificate verification as specified by the facility
Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist (required)
Experience or training in electrophysiology/EP lab procedures preferred
Ability to complete required health screenings and vaccinations (Fit Test, drug screen, respirator evaluation, COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine, MMR, Hep B, TB testing, Varicella, physical)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and EP lab workflows
Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and rhythm recognition
Strong infection control and sterile technique practices
Competence in equipment setup, troubleshooting, and procedural support
Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced procedural environment
