Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) with respect and patience
Support safe transfers and mobility, using appropriate techniques and equipment
Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized, person-centered care
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families

Qualifications

GNA certification (required)
Current state GNA credential or ability to obtain state registration as required
Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED
GNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Infection control standards and practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork, reliability, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
