Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
Provide therapy focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional skills
Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve coordination and upper extremity function
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on outcomes and goals
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to support quality care and regulatory needs
Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies to enhance daily living

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist License (required)
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (required)
Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ADL training and functional rehabilitation
Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
Strong clinical assessment and documentation abilities
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Experience implementing therapeutic exercises to improve function
