Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift (12.5-hour with 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with bedside care, transfers, and mobility support
Monitor and report changes in patients status to the clinical team promptly
Document care accurately and thoroughly to ensure continuity and safety
Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to create a positive patient experience
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active state registry in New Mexico or eligible to register in New Mexico
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM schedule shown)
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Professional, reliable, and committed to patient-centered care
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Vital signs measurement and basic charting/documentation
Infection prevention and control practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Compassion, patience, and strong observational skills
