Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a trusted CNA
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and timely to maintain continuity
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized, respectful care plans are followed

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and lifting/transfer techniques
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with resident-centered care and basic nursing procedures
• Safe patient handling and infection control practices
• Reliable documentation and observational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
