Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor residents’ condition and communicate changes promptly to nursing staff
Accurately document care provided and observations in resident records
Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
Collaborate with the care team and family members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Comfortable working the evening/second shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility-specific onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
GNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic resident care and ADLs
Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Vital signs monitoring and reporting
Good documentation and time-management skills
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal communication
Basic infection control and hygiene practices
