Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention efforts
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Contribute to care plans and participate in team huddles to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required as directed by facility)
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Ability to work overnight/night shifts and handle physical demands of the role
Willingness to complete facility-required background check and immunizations

Education

High School Diploma or GED
State CNA Certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
Charting and electronic documentation familiarity
Infection control and safety protocols
Effective teamwork and clear communication
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
