Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight). Specific days not provided in job data.

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) with dignity and respect
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and any changes in condition
Provide compassionate, hands-on support and companionship to residents
Document care and communicate important updates to nursing staff and supervisors
Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean environment
Support mobility, safe transfers, and fall prevention efforts

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to pass background check and necessary health screenings
Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and basic nursing procedures
Measuring, observing, and reporting vital signs accurately
Clear and timely documentation practices
Infection control, safety protocols, and safe patient handling
Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
